Troy provides commercial inspections that adhere to the InterNACHI Standard of Practice. He provides a Property Condition Assessment (PCA) report which outlines results of a visual inspection of the property and even details probability of failure of equipment (where proper information can be obtained) within five years. This will give prospective buyers an idea of where to focus maintenance in the immediate future and how to plan accordingly. Commercial properties vary significantly in size and type and so the inspection details need to be customized per PCA requirement. Contact Troy today to get a quote and an overview of his services on providing a customized Commercial Inspection for your prospective purchase.
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a visual examination of the physical condition of a home (or other building). This is usually, but not always, connected to the sale of that home or building and its findings often determine the successful completion of that sale.
A home inspection will usually include an examination of the foundation and basement, roof, attic, heating and water systems, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as the general condition of the structure itself. An inspector will look for poor construction practices and make note of any repairs that might be required or any general maintenance issues. Importantly, they will also make note of any fire and safety issues that need to be addressed.
Home Inspections are not conducted on a pass or fail basis; this approach provides a report that shows an itemized list of the condition of the home or building and any work that should be done. An inspection is conducted in about 95% of all real estate home transactions.
Thermal imaging is accomplished using an infared camera. Troy is Infared Certified through InterNACHI and is one of the few inspectors who includes thermal imaging as a part of a standard inspection, free of charge.
